We believe every senior deserves stunning portraits, so we offer everything from streamlined sessions to full-experience packages. 2. What's included in a senior portrait package? Our senior packages typically include your photography session, professional retouching, and a curated selection of digital images and/or prints depending on the product you select. Many packages also include multiple outfit changes and both studio and outdoor location options here in Northeast Wisconsin. We'll tailor the experience around what matters most to you.
3. Do you offer payment plans? Yes — we know senior year comes with a lot of expenses, so Harmann Studios offers flexible payment plans to make portraits more manageable for families across the Green Bay area. Just ask when you book and we'll set something up that works for your family.
4. Are digital files included in the price? Most of our senior packages include a set of high-resolution digital files with a print release, and you can always add more à la carte. We want you to be able to share your favorites on social media and print them for years to come.
5. Is there a session fee separate from prints? We keep things simple by offering all-inclusive packages, so in most cases there isn't a separate session fee on top of product costs. We'll go over everything transparently during your consultation so there are zero surprises.
2. Booking & Scheduling
6. When should I book my senior portrait session? Most seniors in the De Pere and Green Bay area book their sessions 6–12 months in advance, especially if they want summer dates between their junior and senior year. Spring and early summer slots fill up the fastest, so the sooner you reach out, the more flexibility you'll have.
7. What's the best time of year for senior pictures? Late spring through early fall is the most popular window in Northeast Wisconsin because the foliage, warm light, and outdoor location options are at their best. That said, we shoot beautiful sessions year-round — winter snow scenes and cozy studio looks are gorgeous too.
8. How long does a senior session take? Most senior sessions run between 1 and 3 hours depending on the package, number of outfit changes, and whether you're combining studio and outdoor locations. We never rush — we want you to feel relaxed and have fun with it.
9. Can I reschedule if the weather is bad? Absolutely. Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable, so if rain or storms roll into the De Pere area on your session day, we'll happily reschedule at no charge. Your portraits should reflect the look you want, not whatever the sky decided to do.
10. Do you photograph seniors on weekends? Yes, we offer weekend appointments to accommodate school, sports, and work schedules. Saturday slots tend to book up first, so let us know early if a weekend works best for your family.
3. Preparation & Outfits
11. How many outfits should I bring? We typically recommend 2 outfits for a standard session, though larger packages allow for more. Bring a mix of something dressy, something casual, a sports or activity outfit, and something that shows off your personality.
12. What should I wear for senior pictures? Choose outfits that feel like you! Solid colors and classic styles photograph beautifully, and textures like denim, knits, and leather add visual interest. We send every senior a detailed style guide after booking so you'll feel confident pulling looks together.
13. Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally?
Many of our seniors love the extra confidence that comes with professional hair and makeup, which is why we proudly partner with The Tour Brush to help you look and feel your best on photo day. Their talented team knows how to create camera-ready looks that still feel natural and true to you. Professional styling is never required, though we want you to look like the best version of yourself, however you define that.
14. Can I bring props or things that represent my hobbies? Yes, please do! Sports gear, instruments, pets, cars, books, letterman jackets, anything that tells your story is welcome.
15. What if I'm nervous in front of the camera? You're in great company. Most seniors tell us they were nervous walking in and totally relaxed within the first few minutes. We've been photographing seniors in Northeast Wisconsin for over 60 years, so guiding you through poses and helping you feel comfortable is something we genuinely love doing.

16. Where are senior sessions photographed? We photograph at our professional studio in De Pere as well as a variety of outdoor locations throughout the Green Bay and Fox Valley area. Whether you want urban, rustic, natural, or a mix, we'll help you choose locations that match your vibe.
17. Do you shoot indoor and outdoor sessions? Yes, and many seniors choose to do both in a single session. Our studio gives us full control over lighting and a clean, timeless look, while outdoor locations around Northeast Wisconsin add seasonal beauty and variety.
18. Can I choose my own location? Definitely. If you have a meaningful spot: your family farm, a favorite park, downtown Green Bay, the Fox River we're happy to shoot there. We can also suggest tried-and-true locations we've used and loved over the years.
19. Do you travel outside of De Pere for senior sessions? We regularly travel throughout Northeast Wisconsin, including Green Bay, Appleton, the Door County area, and surrounding communities. Travel beyond a certain radius may include a small fee, which we'll always discuss upfront.
20. What if it rains on my outdoor session day? No worries we'll either reschedule the outdoor portion or pivot to our De Pere studio so your session still happens. Many of our favorite portraits have come from creative pivots on cloudy days.
5. After the Session
21. How long until I see my photos?
You’ll typically see your images at your Harmann Reveal Session about 1–2 weeks after your photoshoot, dependent on the season. This is where you’ll view your fully hand-edited gallery for the first time and experience your images the way they’re meant to be seen. Because every photo is carefully edited by hand, the wait is intentional and always worth it.
22. How do I order prints?
All print ordering happens during your Harmann Reveal Session. This is a guided, in-person experience where we walk you through your gallery and help you select your favorite images for prints, albums, wall art, and graduation announcement cards. We utilize our in house print lab to ensure your artwork is produced at the highest quality far beyond standard drugstore or big-box options.
23. Do I get the digital files?
Yes, we do have senior packages that include high-resolution digital files with a personal print release so you can share your images online and print select favorites on your own. However, digital files are not available as a standalone purchase, as we believe your images deserve to live beyond a screen. You can’t hang your phone on the wall, and these moments are meant to be experienced in a way that lasts.

24. Can I order graduation announcements through you? Absolutely. We design beautiful custom graduation announcements featuring your senior portraits, and many Green Bay-area families love being able to handle photos and announcements all in one place. 25. How long do you keep my images on file? We archive senior images for several years so you can come back later for additional prints, gifts, or graduation party needs.
