1. How Long Does a Family Portrait Session Take?

Most sessions last about 1 hour, depending on your family’s size, the type of session (indoor or outdoor), and how everyone is feeling that day.

We take a flexible, family-first approach—so we’ll never rush you, but we also know when to keep things moving. If you have young kids, we’ll often prioritize getting the most important shots early on when attention spans are highest.

Our goal? A relaxed, enjoyable session that captures genuine connection—not forced smiles or stiff poses.

2. Can We Include Pets in Our Family Portraits?

Absolutely—we love furry family members!

Pets are welcome in both studio and outdoor sessions (just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly). We recommend bringing a leash, some treats, and maybe a favorite toy to help keep them comfortable and engaged.

Bonus tip: It’s a good idea to bring a friend or extra family member to help with the pet once we’ve gotten a few great shots. That way, we can focus on other combinations too!

3. What If Someone Gets Sick or We Need to Reschedule?

We totally understand—life happens.

If someone isn’t feeling well or the weather doesn’t cooperate for an outdoor session, just reach out. We’re happy to work with you to reschedule and find a new time that works.
